When you arrive for your first visit, please let our receptionist know that you have arrived and she will direct you to our treatment coordinator. Be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms which will allow us to begin your orthodontic treatment.
For your convenience, we will help you begin treatment with the fewest number of visits possible by providing thorough education and service at the initial visit. This usually takes about 90 minutes.
The importance of and suggestions for good oral hygiene, cooperation with elastics, appointments, broken brackets and appliances will be provided to help you care for your teeth. We will discuss your orthodontic concerns and review your medical/dental history. A clinical evaluation will be administered and treatment options will be discussed. An estimation of treatment time and cost along with financial options will be introduced. For this reason, we request that all parents, spouses, or family members involved in treatment decisions be present at this appointment.
